Safely Settled™ Terms of Service
1. Scope of Services
Safely Settled™ provides a proprietary Objective Environmental Strategy through on-site Strategic Audits ($750) and Virtual Strategy Sessions ($595). Our "Product" is a Strategic Roadmap—a data-driven report identifying environmental stressors. We are consultants, not contractors. We do not perform construction, installation, or repair work.
2. The "Objective" Guarantee
To maintain the integrity of our Safely Settled™ Standard, we refuse all commissions, kickbacks, or referral fees from contractors, architects, or equipment vendors. Our recommendations are 100% unbiased and based solely on the physics of your home and your family's movement needs.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
Professional fees are due in full at the time of booking to secure your audit date. Because our fee covers thirty years of specialized expertise and the individual synthesis of your Strategic Roadmap, all payments are non-refundable once the audit or session has commenced.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that "chapters of life" can be unpredictable. We require 48 hours' notice to reschedule an on-site audit. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a $150 rescheduling fee to cover the reserved professional time.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Safely Settled™ Roadmap is a proprietary document created specifically for your unique property. It is intended for your personal use and for the use of your chosen architects or contractors. Reproduction or distribution of our methodology for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
Safely Settled™ identifies environmental risks based on movement science; however, we cannot guarantee the prevention of all accidents or injuries. Our Roadmap is a strategic guide, and the implementation of any recommendations is at the sole discretion and responsibility of the homeowner.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Orange County.
